New Toy Arrived and have another fun one enroute

I am not a frequent poster on this site but am on some others. I have been more of a Jackson Charvel guy but have recently really gotten into some of the high end Ibanez gear. I am a player/collector/restorer/flipper so if ya hate any resellers dont bother with me ya might hate me long term..

That stated I have had a few of the USRGs in the past but the finishes ALWAYS bothered me. Every one I had barring one was faded badly and just made me uninspired to play them.

I had come into one about a year ago with a top so faded you had 0 color left on her and I finally felt the time was right. Let me preface this with saying I have an affinity for the wetrose and other trans pinks so this is my twist on her.

I have had this USRG refinned in Trans pink. Mike Learn did the finish and the body is enroute to me. The pics dont show the grain well so I cant say this is a good shot but here is a temp pic.

The body will be arriving back here this week and I am debating on where to go with hardware. I am temted to go a bit oldschool looking with cream pickups and gold hardware. The other part of me thinks white or zebra with cosmo black. I need to replace the hardware as its totally hammered.

My other was a recent acquisition of a JP90th. She has a few chips and the normal hardware tarnish but nothing too detrimental. She was always on my gas list and when she arrived today I played her about an 2 hrs. My only real shock was the seller didnt disclose the crack in the ebony board; nothing that cant be filled but it would have been nice to know.

Anyway thanks for listening to my incessant ranting.

Can't see any pictures, I think you missed the image link.

What's wrong with the hardware? Is it looking rough and worn, rusty?

Yeah man....PICS!!! This guitar sounds VERY interesting..........

Don't worry, there's a good handful of flippers here. The only thing that ever bothers me are the butchers of old MIJ guitars. By butcher, I mean tearing down guitars and selling them off for parts.
