Just picked this up its part of the Ibanez Exotic Wood series.. Got it on a trade at the local GC for some misc stuff I had laying around..
Anyways here are the specs:
12TH FRET/HEADSTOCK PEARL INLAY
QUILTED BUBINGA Top
QUILTED BUBINGA Back/Sides
Abalone Rosette( or some variation of abalone)
Here is my review: I was playing several similar priced guitars and they all sounded dead to me, I picked this up on a whim thinking better looking usually means crappier sounding when it comes to under $500 guitars.
Much to my surprise its very lively. Projects very very strong. Not as bass heavy as its size would expect but its not lacking either. Very well finished and the inlay believe it or not is very clean.. Was expecting to see all kinds of hide glue due to bad routing but its very clean.
The neck on this thing is amazingly thin almost like a RG neck. Its not your standard acoustic baseball bat of a neck it was made for us knucklehead shred guys
I like it alot, I also love the fact it doesnt have any preamp what so ever.. Usually another reason under $500 acoustics sound crappy.. More into the electronics then the guitar.
Over all I am very pleased with its sound, looks, and playability.
