New toy for me . . . JPM100P3 - What an incredible axe!

I normally don't put posts up to share my joy about recent purchases, but this one has me so giddy I can't help it *

I just got my '97 JPM100 P3 today that I bought from Rich Harris . . . what a guy. *Anyway, this thing is too sweet!!! *It's easily gonna play second chair to the 7VWH (instantly surpassing my four other high end Ibanez axes to the number 2 slot). *I love the signature models because they have the slightly thicker necks. *The neck on this JPM is especially nice. *It has very little finish on the back of the neck and it's got a perfect profile for me. *COOL *

Incredible tone and plays like butter. *I've always been impressed by the JPMs but never could quite convince myself to shell out the dough for one. *Now that I've got one, it's plain to see that they're worth every penny *

Thanks. *I must say I have noticed a fair number of P3s for sale lately. *I was a bit torn between the P3 and P2 . . . I decided the my Jem777VDY was the only extremely 'loud' looking guitar that I needed . . . thus, I chose the P3. *

Looking forward to logging some serious play time on this one *

My P3 is one guitar I dont ever see myself selling, even though I havent touched it in quite a while now. *Been on the back burner to the 2027.

Well, from one JPM owner to another, congratulations... You now know what it is like to play an instrument as fine as a JPM... This guitar is really like no other that I've come across. Even though I play my RG1077XL more now, I know that nothing will ever surpass my affinity for my JPM90th... The neck profile itself speaks volumes... It's tight, small yet fast to play, and the tone of that axe is amazingly smooth and beautiful...

Once again, congrats...

Congrats...that's my fav JPM (except maybe the 10th). *I actually just let go of my P3 (yes, kinda hard to part with!). *If I can connect availability with afordability, I think a USRG30 is gonna be a better fit for me...same neck but pretty wood.

It's about time you got a JPM... * *Now ya know why I've had mine for 4 years without any significant thoughts of selling it (until I got the 90th, but that's just more of a good thing...).

If both of us start showing up to gigs with JPM's, people will think we're a DT tribute band! We're gonna need to make our songs about 5x as long!

Congratulations and welcome to the JPM club. P3's and JPMs in general are fantastic guitars. I love those necks and that tone. I am never selling my main P3. Enjoy.

Congrats on your P3 also from me. IMO the P3 is(was) the best guitar to come from Ibanez. It has all the features that the Jem doesn't. Features that I really love. Such as direct mount pick-ups, better knob placement, bound neck AND headstock, no monkey grip (cool) and the coolest graphic. I've owned all the models except the P1 and wound up selling them all (stupid). The one I regret selling most was the P3. They really are nice. I'm saving my pennies now to purchase another one. I finally got a 90th and got to the point where my hands grew out of liking the neck because I was playing my Kamikaze and Jackson SL2(a$$-kick'n axe) too much(is that possible?), but now I'm craving one again. *I just can't stay away from those JPMs. *
