Man with the way these things are built, I wonder how prestiges keep up! I've only played one of these and it was set up like crap, but the neck felt really great in my hands. Nice score!

God this site it the worst thing in the world for G.A.S. That is one stunning guitar and the fretwork looks very nice.

I like that quilt top. Is it a veneer or is the whole top figured?

well, the the stock-pups weren't as bad as i feared. with the BKP's it sounds simply insane (at least with my use of it).

the trem was very good, and got even better when i removed the stop-function.
i reckon it will be EVEN better when broken in.
flutters and dives as good as my lo-pro-7

Question Re: NGD! *premium content*

Is that a Zero-Edge trem?

Beautiful guitar. Not sure about the "premiums" though. Absolutely positive that I don't want Zero trems.

Let us know how she feels when you have her for some time.

Regards,

JP

Awesome guitar! Congratz!!! I'm really thinking getting a RG920MQM.

Can you comment on the Edge Zero?

thanks, bud! i wouldn't think twice about getting another premium. insane bang-for-buck factor.

I am more than pleased with the edge zero II.
when the stop-rod is installed the trerm is very stiff, but very stable. it is claimed that you can break a string and still stay in tune. i did not try this for myself, but it should function with a bit of tweaking on before-hand.

I have removed the stop-rod, resulting in a fully floating trem.
it's very smooth, as smooth as my lo-pro 7 I would say.
the cons are that the trem-arm gives it a lesser solid feel than let's say the trem-arm for an edge or lo-pro. the EZ-arm has the ability to tweak how firm it will sit, though.

after i got the strings properly stretched, the trem stays in tune, even under heavy abuse
