NGD

had the bug for a second Tele lately, was leaning towards a Hot Rod 52 RI but didn't want to spend that much so I picked up a MIJ 62 RI Tele. A few years ago I build a parts Tele just like this but with an ebony board, but I didn't like the feel of the neck I ordered so I sold it. This will be getting a Hot Rails in a day or two

and her sister, a MIM Classic 60s Tele

Re: NGD

Nice... congrats. They're classics and so versatile. Been gassing for a Tele for what seems like ages now.

Forgive the ignorance, but why the hot rails over std?

Re: NGD

The white one will have to standard pickups, well I'm putting Texas Specials in it but I really like the sound of the Hot Rails. One of the main reasons I bought the new one was specifically to put a Hot Rails in.

Re: NGD

Grats! Nice! I hope I get interested in teles when I get old too, as of now one is enough, and they are truly a lot more diverse than one might think.

Re: NGD

Can't go wrong with Texas Specials, just put them in my Strat. So versatile and amazing tone.

Thats the truth too. Dean to Ibanez is goofy feeling, Ibanez to schector is even worse. amazing how between 3 guitars, all 3 feel different in the neck alone. so many different types ect.
