RG2770FM VV

Got it yesterday but I haven't set it up yet because I've been busy as hell. I'm going to try and reserve an entire day to set up all of my guitars so I'll probably just wait until then.

Anyway:

I do believe the 3 piece Wizards are 1mm thicker than the Super Wizards/originals but I can't even tell unless I have it side by side with one. My hands are extremely sensitive to this sort of thing too so that's a definite plus. Planning to do some upgrades once my bank account recovers.

Re: NGD:

Yep, me either. Haha. There are a bunch of 770FM variates as you probably know. This run was made in 2004 but only available in Japan. They made another batch of them in 2010 for Japan only as well but with Edge Zero bridges.

Go figure. The Japanese market gets all of the sweet limited run stuff. That really is one of the sexiest Ibbys I've seen in some time. Did you order from one of the Japanese mega stores?

Re: NGD:

I bought it from eBay actually. The guy was located in the US. However, that same week I almost scored a J Custom from Ishibashi. I was third in line to buy it but the first guy finally bought it after putting it on hold for like a week.

Re: NGD:

Is that a 4mm maple cap or just a veneer? Is this basically like a 3120 with the mahogany w/ maple cap?

Re: NGD:

Very nice guitar, nice vintage look to it! Actually very much like a RG3120 with middle S pickup. Congrats!
