Pawn shop find. My oh my.

Interesting replacement tailpiece- hardtail with fine tuners. I love it.

Better than my handmade Custom guitar which I paid literally ten times as much for.

Hell yeah Ibanez.

Wow! That is an awesome score. Looks to be in astonishing nick for a soon to
be 35 year old guitar. First time I've ever seen fine tuners on a TOM set up!!
Ha! As the owner of a 1978 MC300 I can say that Ibanez made some solid
guitars back in this era....always appealed to me more than their Gibson
counterparts.

Well, the condition is not as pristine as the pics and video would indicate. But it's certainly been used rather than abused.

This guitar SMOKES almost any Gibson I've ever played. Perfect Les Paul tone acoustically, all the LP lows with no muddiness, perfect balance of chord blending and string separation, piano like single notes and decay, and terrific evenness of tone across wound and unwound strings as well as across registers- terrific.

My old boss has an R8 Historic Les Paul...other than what it's worth, there is no reason I'd rather have that thing. This is a keeper.
