NGD! 1989 RG750

My new RG was finally delivered today. It came in filthy, strings with crud just hanging off of them. Crud all over the fingerboard and just disgusting and felt like crap (ordered from GC).

I took it apart and cleaned everything, new strings and I set it up. It is more than I ever expected! It plays itself and screams! I'm so damn excited... new rig and guitar all in one day... the human mind can't take this kind of stoke.

Congratulations man!!!!

I've seen them come in in pretty bad shape too, but some elbow grease and a little TLC will bring most of them back to their "glory days".

Kudos for keeping another golden era RG alive!!

Get your post count up so we can see some pics

NEED PICS. I love my '91 750 CA. Loaded with EVO set and has a nice dark board. Absolutely screams. Congrats. What color did you get?

This thread is useless without pics :-D

Got 750FA and 750BK myself. Quite different the two, but the 750BK is my favourite!

No it wouldn't.

I think you need to do a stocktake though, without the missus seeing. You could land yourself in trouble if the amount is too high.

LOL......good luck getting past "Uncle Bruno".

I don't have too many "lovely" guitars...... Loved, well used, put away wet and wanting more? Yeah, I have those in spades!!!
