NGD: 1990 USCG

Just got this a few days ago. Itīs my first USA Custom. The graphic is called "Necromancers castle". Its a nice players guitar. All stock except for the bridge pickup, which I believe its a Paf Pro. 1990. She just needs a good cleaning and ready to go

Thanks again Rich for the deal!

"Necromancers castle" is not as rare as you would think.
This and "Ice World" are probably the most common that come up on fleaBay.

You want rare? Try to find an AANJ "Angels Depart" or the orange "Cosmic Swirl II".
There a probably a bunch more in the "rare" category.

I've been looking for years for the "Angels Depart".
But....if I need to do another custom (and who doesn't), I know the artist that did it.
And he is still in business....hehehehe.

Re: NGD: 1990 USCG

necro is pretty common, along with streetwise.
the coolness about necro is, the variety of the color they come out with.
some has purple-ish cloud, some blue, some orange and so on.

speaking about the most hard to find usgc, I think the 'alien revenge' come on top of the list.

Re: NGD: 1990 USCG

Cool guitar! Congrats!

There are lots of really rare UCGR's. Some of them are rare because they weren't great graphics, like Digital Madness.

I've seen a bunch of Angels Depart for sale. They come up reasonably often. I bought my Leather & Metal from someone here and I've never seen a single one otherwise.

Re: NGD: 1990 USCG

Thanks! Yep, this one is fairly common, but I am thrilled to have it since its my first US Custom Graphics. I also got it from Rich, which is always pretty cool...

Angels Depart is one of my favorites, it is the next one in line that Iīm looking for..

Hereīs a link of a web I created with all the Ibanez I have:

Re: NGD: 1990 USCG

Congrats, thats a nice guitar.

Hmm, SOme USAC's are very hard to find, such as the angels depart or the metal leopard. Those guitars hardly never come up for sale.

Re: NGD: 1990 USCG

That was my fave from the Ibanez poster of the USCGs I had on my wall. I don't remember the colors being so vivid though, I thought the castle one was more black, grey. I love that one. Very nice!
