NGD - 550 LB

Wanted to put this in a thread instead of some pics at the bottom of another thread (was in the should I buy this 570 thread).

Anyway almost didn't get this one, but the original buyer backed out, and I bought it for $475 with a hard case that is pretty beat up but serviceable. Paid a bit, but it is a great player... it's got some dings, see below:

love 550's dings are ok - as long as the frets have good meat left and she plays nice then you are good to go. Congrats!!!

Thanks! Yeah that purple one next to it in the last pic has lots of scars and I love it too, so I know what you mean.

Re: NGD - 550 LB

the Candy Red 550 I used to have was far more worse for wear than your LB but it still played great. Happy NGD

Nice guitar! With a few little nicks already you can just play the heck out of it and not worry so much. Congrats!

Re: NGD - 550 LB

Thanks guys - yeah I never worry cause I know I won't be having to sell them to make ends meet or anything (knock on wood!) so I just enjoy playing them. The purple neon had some wiring problems that I just got all sorted out, so I am stoked for it having the X2N and Fred and two volume knobs... lots of great possibilities I am just starting to tap into.

Anyway it's great to have a place to show what we've got and have great people who appreciate them for what they are! Cheers everyone!

PS How's that 320 FireEagle?

Very nice man. I don't mind the "character" either. It must be a blast to play.

I don't know much about the V1-V2 pups. If you ever decide to pull them out- let me know. I'd like to try them out.

Re: NGD - 550 LB

RGT I very well may do that, and I will let you know. I am going to A/B them with my PN and make a decision, but I see it as very likely that they come out...

Awesome guitar. Love the maple neck and LB finish! Don't ever sell it.

Still diggin' it! Fantastic little guitar... so underrated. I have a different bridge pickup to try at the next string change too...
