NGD- 56K GTFO, zebrawood ET/ibanez content

Hey guys & girls,
Im new to jemsite so I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right spot if so can the mods please shift it.

Anyway i thought I'd share my new guitar. It's been in the works for some time and now that she's arrived I've fallen in love
She was broken in on stage friday night and held up really well.
The body was made by Ernie Taylor,
i really cant say enough good things about this guy...

Specs are:

* Ibanez RG2550 neck (5pc maple/rosewood)
* ET guitars custom zebrawood/mahogany replacement RG body
* Fernandes FSK401 sustainer system
* Seymour Duncan blackouts AHB-1B & AHS-1N
* Dunlop flushmount straploks
* Edge Pro Bridge
* Tremol-no
* Clear cavity covers (with slots over trem cavity for access to T-no & claw screws)

I had input every step of the way and we designed this from the ground up. The mahogany is dyed to match the lines in the zebra. Tonally it sounds huge, thunderous lows and balanced mids & highs with incredible clarity. I have it in drop Bb for my new band and its djenty as hell. The neck feels like butter and has a nice flame figure in the middle maple fillet. It is definately on the heavy side, weighs in at 5.2 kilos even with the huge control cavity. The zebra has alot to do with this, it is an extremely dense wood which probably has alot to do with the clarity and depth of this guitar's tone. The tonewoods just seem to complement each other so well, I really couldn't be happier. I can't thank Ernie enough for realising my dream, he I just such a top bloke and even shouted me a free chinese dinner

Cheers people!
-Josh

That is one gorgeous piece right there. How about a better pic of the back? I would love to see the tiger stain on that mahogany and those clear covers a little better. Beautiful guitar!

That looks so good, I want to make a project guitar now! I would do a spalted maple section probably though.

ET made the covers, i think they're just perspex cut out with his CNC system but im not sure, hit him up an email and he'll be able to tell you.

the neck looks like 2 singles, which im pretty sure its not, but that gets me thinking that technically we could take to single coils and wire them up like a humbucker, but give more tonal options, if any one needs me ill be in my lab.

Sustainer i think

Awesome guitar, shame about the knot under the bridge, but it doesn't distract from such nice wood, spot on m8, i like it alot

Very nice! It's almost what I've been wanting. I want a Zebrano RGA body with a Monkey Grip handle, fixed bridge(Gibraltar Plus), output jack like a Jem, kill-switch in place of tone knob, HSH, and Vine inlay. Awesome. Have fun with it.

no can do on this one,
The sustainer in the top neck position is a humbucker if in pickup mode.
The blackout is a stacked single.

That is a nice guitar, I would say "speechless," but I have a question for you. How is it that someone with only 5 posts can post pictures/ links?
