Just arrived in the mail today! Snapped a quick pic in its right-out-of-the case condition.

Got it from Dr. Strangenote on here. I love this thing so far. The lower horn cutaway seems much more aggressive than the RG and the guitar generally seems easier to play in that area. Don't care much for the stock middle and neck pickups, but the bridge pickup sounds surprisingly good. I was pretty psyched to find a '91 with an original Edge and no pickguard.

She's got a decent amount of fret wear and it's definitely more of a player than any of my other guitars, but it still plays super nice. I've really, really been wanting an RBM2 forever, but with the prices those have gotten to, I've pretty much given up on that. I'm thinking about going with some gold hardware, EMG's and stripping down the body for sort of an RBM2 tribute.

Don't strip the body, put the money into the fretwork and some kicka$$ pickups if you want to mod it. Suhr still makes a Reb Beach model if you want a tribute.

Yeah, the more I look at it, the more I like this red paint. All it needs is a bit of a buffing for some light scratches. I'm really looking forward to tearing this thing down and giving it some TLC.
