NGD 91 S540LTD

Just aquired through a trade......1991 Ibanez S540LTD all stock. Ibanez F Series pickups, Lo Pro Bridge, Almost mint...No scratches on the body except for one route hole where the previous owner had a GK system installed.

Lo pro is in great condition for its age. Did a full setup, Strobed and it plays and intonated great! I have owned a few S in my time (prestige as well) and this has the best tone and intonation of them all. The F2 in the bridge is a great pickup. Will not replace......

Couple of things need to be replaced like the locknut screws, Lo pro intonation screws, Saddle blocks and some new hex screws for the bridge pickup. The best thing was the Locking Nut mounting screws on the back of the neck had no cracks near the holes whatsoever........

I posted this before with my RG3120, They dont make them like they used to......

I'm with you....I like the square heel much better than the AANJ. It really seems to affect the tone and resonance on all of mine in a very positive way.
The heel has never gotten in my way either...............

Re: NGD 91 S540LYD

There may be a reason the new floral Jem, JS guitars and Gilberts newer sig has a squared heel.....I believe Paul made mention of it...

If you are used to AANJ then you may feel the diff but once you start playing it you get used to it.....and love it...lol
