Talking NGD...

So, today I'm goin to customs to pick up my new guitar. It's S470 and got it from evilbay. The guitar was posted on 15th, so it took 11 days to get here. Not bad for usps.. I've heard horror stories about their delivery times Now I'll just have to wait for my wife to show up from work (she's got the car, damnit.) and then we'll pick it up. I'll post some pics when I get it.

Re: NGD...

So, here are the pics I promised.. Sorry bout the quality, these are cellphone shots.. I'll get new ones when I can.

The guitar was the DIRTIEST BY FAR of any guitars I've come across, but it cleaned off pretty good. Now i'm almos a happy camper.. BUT.. There's a twist. "surprisingly" there's not enough room to intonate this thing to B-standard.. Crap..

edit.. oh, the pics don't work. got to upload to photobucket then. just a sec.

and now it's in C.. maybe this time I can intonate this thing

Oh and by the way.. this ZR-intonation tool is friggin ingenious!

Re: NGD...

Congratz on the new guitar. I'm sure you'll get the intonation thing sorted out. The s470 looks great, I love that colour as well. Best of luck with it!

Re: NGD...

Thanks, pals.

About that mountain dew.. it's actually 1,5 liters and no, I'm not a programmer.. Just remains of one drunk night with some buddies

I got the intonation sorted out, it worked with C-standard like a charm. Now I'll just have to wait for some thicker strings, so I can try to tune it to B again.. The strings I used were WAY too thick.

I love NGD's too! What a coincidence.. :P

And now I'm officially a ibanez addict. Just love both of my ibanezes, the rg 2570 and this s470.
