NGD: AANJ Radius

Here it is. This is officially the last Radius i needed to complete the collection.
(it's the one on the right)

I haven't had time to take decent pictures just yet, but it's a r354, color code Antique Violin.

Peculiarity: it has the aanj neck joint. Not many radius have it (to my knowledge, only 3 models).

Cool! I was thinking this was going to be about the 540R LTD, but that's a really neat model as well.

The one I linked here is being sold for a hair under 200 USD

Re: NGD: AANJ Radius

200usd is definitely a steal for that guitar! These remind me of the Strat Custom Deluxe, which quite often came with figured tops.

I highly recommend it if you're looking for a strat type.
Only con is the ****ty jack input. don't know why they didn't put the barrel jack input, they used the ****ty ones with the large black plastic frame at the end. Shame

Maybe I'll go down and check it out this weekend. Is this particular color just as rare as the antique violin?

Re: NGD: AANJ Radius

Very hard to say.
It also depends on the region, as often different colors are more common in one Region but not in another.
Here the most common, in my experience, is the purple one. That is what comes up more often.
This dark red is new to me, so is your green one from the link.
To me the best looking is the Tobacco one, which seems to be US only, and named rv470. I love tobacco sunburst!

If you can try it, give it a shot. The neck is Fender-fat and the frets are tiny, so definitely not a typical Ibanez

Hmmm I'll go try it out and see how I like it. My roadcore has smaller frets than a typical ibanez as well and it has a super fat neck as well.

Speaking of this green one, it has been sitting at that shop for months now. I'm surprised no one picked it up, but hearing that these are rare makes me want it

Re: NGD: AANJ Radius

For that price, you get a lot of guitar for the money. If you can try it in a shop, there's no risk involved too

My only worry is that I'll like and want to buy it

Exactly how rare are the R354s? Are they generally pretty rare?

I can't justify spending 600 on a guitar i don't actually need, but man for 200 USD i'd already bought it.
