NGD: Christopher Woods Custom Jem/PGM! :D

Hello All,
Wanted to share with you all, my first custom guitar by Christopher Woods!
This thing is a real beauty and I'm absolutely loving it!
Here are the specs:

- Korina Body
- Flamed Maple Inlaid F-holes (ala. Paul Gilbert)
- 3pc Maple/Purpleheart Neck, Ebony Fretboard
- Holoflek Vine Inlays with Blue/Green/Cyan Leds (ala. Steve Vai)
- Kahler Fixed Bridge
- Planet Waves Locking Tuners

But crappy pickups as of now!!:P

And the pics:

Thanks,
Arnab

Very nice. I'd have made the f-hole inlays a bit more obvious, though the subtlety is also cool. I do think the neck bling is a bit over the top. Beautiful instrument altogether, and I like it that you've gone with Kahler

Nice guitar. Really well thought out with the wood selection and all.

Two questions though.

What's with the uneven black line around to inlays? Is that just a trick of the light?

What pickups are you going to put in? I'm a big bare knuckle fan, but I have no idea what kind of pups sound good in korina.

Hey! Thanks!
But, which black lines are you talking about, I didn't quite get that? :/
and pickups i'm thinking Dimarzio Breeds! But bare knuckles sound interesting too, haven't ever tried them though!

Hey! Thanks!

Well, the bling factor is not always in your face when the leds are off!

And yeah, the Kahler is pretty neat, I think it is aiding in much better tone/sustain compared to my other RG2550Z! And I didn't really need a floating bridge anyway, this is much easier to change tunings on with better tonal character imo!

The dark area in the photo between the maple of the f-holes and the wood of the korina. To me it looks like filler as you would see if the inlay didn't quite fit the route. Again, it could be a trick of the light! Either way: it looks great!

Breeds are really great pickups. I have used them in a custom build, and they are one of the best all round Dimarzios. Bare Knuckles are worth a try, particularly if you are using interesting woods. I think that they have a clear tone and an harmonic response that really communicates the tonal characteristics of the wood. You have to be very selective about which set you put in, even if they are unmatched, but if you get it right it is tone heaven (IMHO).
