If there was a purple RG with a Double Edge--I'd already have it.

LOL---those pics were taken 5 minutes after it arrived.

There will be purple DiMarzios in soon....along with the PacMan graphics.

I'm going to post the PacMan mock up in a bit.

Concerning that RG560PN--I got it from another Jemsiter (Jack Secret)a few years ago who got it from an Ibanez endorsed artist--Rikk Beatty.
Here's Jack's original thread:

Still thinking about the knob colors.

This post has given me GAS for an atari....not a reissue of pac for the PS3 or Xbox that can be easily beat but the old ass Atari with the unresponsive joystick and cartridge system that you had to knock around and put it in the deck 15 times to get it to work while my dad is screaming that I broke the most expensive xmas gift he got me........

In any event, I like the design....

Re: NGD--Double Edge Fun!

RG620Xs rock. I have two that have become my main live guitars. Even stock, I can't say anything bad about them! Have an RG2120X that is having Duncans installed, that may surpass them (cool snakeskin finish as well).

Love the Double Edge! Had a RG6CST, and still have the RG7CST.

Enjoy, and if the green DiMarzios need a home, let me know...

Cheers,
Butch

Re: NGD--Double Edge Fun!

Stupid local GC sold one of those a few hours before I would have come in to buy it. Two of the piezo saddles weren't working and I told them if they fixed them I'd buy it ASAP. I dropped in that week and they sold it a few hours before I showed up.

Rat punks.

I played it through the piezos on a Fender clean amp (Twin?) and I especially liked the E & A strings. I'm still hoping to find a seven string 2027 (either S or RG). I'm not holding my breath, though.

I keep an eye out for you.
Saw one at a GC a few months ago.

Re: NGD--Double Edge Fun!

For the body, have you considered doing the graphic rotated 90 degrees from where you have it? I'd also like to see Pac Man himself on the body. What about making it sort of a collage of the game board and some of the images from the arcade console?

You could use that image from the side of the cabinet down the whole rear of the guitar (like the girl in my Leather & Metal UCGR). You could lay that right over the game board and have that basically bursted in black around the graphic and the edges of the body. You could leave the headstock as standard Ibanez that way.

That Pic reminds me of growing up in Florida and staying at the beach and playing that arcade game, That RG would look freakin Boss with that graphic.....Is Boss still a cool word....getting old...
