NGD- first DiMarzio!
So after wondering for months what pickup to install in my Olp MM1 I decided to go with an Evo 2 i the bridge. (happened to be what one of the stores near me happened to have) I figured if i didn't like it DiMarzio has a solid return policy and it sounded like something I would like anyway. This was not only my first DiMarzio, but it was also my first time ever soldering anything. I restrung my guitar afterwords and played and went to a jam... and was blown away. Harmonics jump out of my guitar, my guitar just cuts right through the mix, rhythms are thick and crunchy but still present, and leads are just killer. I went from metal to pop rock even some reggae and it was unbelieveable- I don't think i left my bridge pickup at all that night. after having played other major pickup brands including active pickups and passives, I am never going to buy anything other than DiMarzio pickups.
