I picked this one up from Craigslist a few months ago, but it's sat in its case ever since I brought it home. I finally got some time to clean her up a little today.
I got this for a ridiculously low price knowing full well that the paint was rough and some of the hardware was wrong. It came with a 4-hole Duncan TB6 (Duncan Distortion) with the accompanying 4-hole plastic trim ring, an Ibanez USA C-2 in the middle that was missing it's cover, and an ESP labled Dimarzio stacked hum in the neck (no identifying marks). I had the correct F2-C2-C2 set on hand, so in they went. Unfortunately, I don't have a black trim ring, so I settled for a cosmo one I had in the parts bin.
The Black Edge is nearly perfect. It has 3 pin head dimples on the baseplate (bass side as always...lol). Other than that, it's mint. It's also missing the string tree and TR cover, but I'm sure I have some in good condition around here somewhere, I just don't have any more time to look. (Jesse, Your 760 is looking AMAZING!!!)
The neck is in VERY good shape. no nut cracks, great frets except 1-2-3, and zero dings or dents on the back. The previous owner must have had this thing leaning on the strings for a long time, because they made big impressions in fret's 1, 2 and 3. an easy fix, but thats the only thing keeping me from saying the neck is in better condition. It also had the wrong strap buttons on it, so i changed those to the correct pieces.
BTW...I lost the switch tip in the grass when I was walking her outside.....
Anyway, here are some pics I took this afternoon:
