NGD or I'm loving angels instead

Finally after a long search I've got her. The original pickups was long gone but I installed white Duncans and a FU-brass block. Now she screams !
made in 1991, AANJ. Dan Lawrence did a hell of a job with this one. I love it...

Very nice guitar and you should get a ton of tonal options with aftermarket pickups.

DAMMIT!!!

Stop hogging all the good UCGR's!!!!............LOL

That my favorite UCGR as well. I've wanted one for a LONG time. I was one of the loosing bidders on the "Angels that Takin' a Ride mentioned- I had to bail out after $850.......

Oddly enough, I just watched a 760JB go for $900. I wonder if I could sell some of mine for the same price?............nah, ain't gonna happen.

Thanks man,

The neck pickup is a S.D. p-rails. Itís a full-size humbucker that splits to either a full-size P-90 or a special Alnico-powered single-coil Rail pickup.

In the middle its a S.D. SSL-5 and in the bridge S.D. Distortion.

Watched that one on evil-bay but got this for a better prize and it also looked to be in better shape.

Are they all hum cancelling? My setup for an all around guitar is my two stock humbuckers I put into split mode with push pull and while single coil tone is still good taking down a 13K pickup which has enough love to go around, it hums with distortion and that's not a good thing.

I know on some HSH models, there's humbucker in neck in position 5, position 4 is humbucker in parallel, position 3 is two inside coils with RWRP hum cancelling, position 2 is other two single coils in RWRP, and position 1 is bridge humbucker so all 5 positions have no hum. Doesn't P-Rails have it so there's no 60 cycle hum by creative wiring?

Yeah it does sound really good. The guitar feels light and supersolid.
