My first J-Custom! This guitar is amazing, it had a great setup out of the box, all I had to do was tune it. The workmanship is amazing. I have owned dozens of Ibanez guitars, and this blows them all away. It is better than any Prestige I have ever owned. If you ever get a chance to buy one, you won't be disappointed. Sorry for the lousy pix, this color is very hard to photograph. It is a very deep red.

man, looks gorgeous. i've always wondered how a j custom compares to prestige level quality. i know they are "close" but i haven't ever played a j custom.

I had a red one but I sold it and got a purple one. Always loved the red though. They are absolutely beautiful guitars through and through.

I was always skeptical about J-Customs being better than the Prestige line. They are close, but unless you get an awesome setup, like what Rich does, there is a quite a difference. Now, I just want Ibanez to make one with a fixed bridge.

Yep, I'm hooked. I don't think I will be anything that is not J-Custom in the future. Unless of course, we get an Ibanez Custom Shop! I know, but we can dream can't we?

I brought on of mine into a shop up here as I was trying a new guitar amp. They had never even seen one and couldn't believe how amazing they looked, sounded and played. They really are the top of the line!

Mine came in a j-custom case. But I've heard of several others who got theirs in prestige cases. Who cares though, the only difference between the two is the writing outside.
