NGD: Les Paul Studio

Here we go then. As mentioned in a previous thread, some pics of my new Les Paul.

Its a real beaut as far as I'm concerned. Completely different guitar from my RG550, but in its own right 'a lovely chunk of wood' as they say. Can produce some real nice tone from this beast. Its a clunkier guitar than your average superstrat, but it just has something about it.

Only had it for 5 days, but its a keeper defo!

I took these pics last monday, was in a bit of a rush, so apologies for the crudeness...

EDIT - If someone could tell me how to post in the message window that would be great!

If you have them hosted on teh intrewebz, find the url of each pic and put [ IMG] ... [/ IMG] on either side (without the spaces and with the url in place of ...).

Nice lp too.

Re: NGD: Les Paul Studio

Yes, sick indeed.

I will tell you one thing about this guitar. The smell is intoxicating! It just makes me wanna play the blues or something.
I dont know if its the ebony or just something with Gibsons, but its a real sweet aroma. I often just open up the case just to have a whiff! I'm no pervert or anything, but I advise anyone who visits a guitar shop in the near future to have a quick smell of an ebony Les Paul.. haha! I can imagine it would look a little strange..

Re: NGD: Les Paul Studio

LPs look great in white (or should that read all guitars look great in white?) - very nice. You might want to play around with the pickups since you come from the land of Bareknuckle... gives another dimension to a Paul.

Enjoy

Re: NGD: Les Paul Studio

those fret ends look kinda sharp from here.

i've never liked les pauls, they're the most uncomfortable guitars i've ever played and i can never seem to play anything but sunshine of your love on them.

congrats though.
