NGD!!! My first 7 String - and it's a Prestige (RG1527)!

Hey guys! I'm thrilled to have entered the 'universe' of the 7 string! Just bought a beautiful RG1527 for a super low price from someone who didn't know how to play it, set it up or what an awesome guitar they had in their hands...

Here she is:

What do you think?

Nice! I have the same model. They are great guitars with really nice neck's. If you can change the pickups and it will be even better.

Thanks bro! Yeah the neck is amazing - so smooth and strong and fast! A shredders dream
Pickups are pretty good - V77/87 but yeah, if I dropped in a Duncan Sentient/Pegasus or Dimarzio PAF7/Illuminator combo, it would be even better as you say

Thanks man!! Great choice! What do you think of an Evo 7 in the bridge and Blaze in the neck?

Thanks PBG! Great deal indeed
The finish is so beautiful....... guitar hasn't been played much. I can tell by the condition of the hardware, neck and input jack which is still pretty tight

Awesome score Rolan.......

My biggest regret is selling an '08 1527. It had the nicest neck of any guitar I've ever had.

Thanks very much bro!! The approval of fellow guitarists is so awesome

Ahh that's a shame man...it has an amazing neck indeed. So playable, strong and smooth. Ultra Prestige baby

What did you replace it with?

I've never played the Evo 7, but I have a plain evo in an RG570. My only experience with a Blaze set was in a UV70p at a music store in Vegas, so I can't say much to compare the two. The evo sounds incredible in my 570 and that blaze set sounded incredible in that UV
