Exclamation NGD - not an Ibanez but....Carvin ST300T

Carvin ST300T - honeyburst, bookmatched flametop with matching headstock overlay, Holdsworth Headstock and neck radius, stainless frets, neckthru, ebony board, Sperzel locking tuners, Wilkinson trem.

I'm more of a Floyd guy but when I set the trem to float and used the locking tuners the thing stays very stable. Shocked and surprised.

It's really kind of sick. The camera appears to have severe problems photographing the true color too. The CCD gets overloaded with all that yellow which makes the red not as red as it really is but this second to last picture is about as close to the true red color as I've gotten. So imagine that sick yellow with the red in the second to last shot and that's what it looks like in person.

Cleanest newest used guitar I ever bought - came with case keys, paperwork, warranty cards, build list, etc:
The stainless frets allow for higher velocity playing it seems like it's almost effortless. OK I'm pleased.

Not a big fan of red guitars or with red on them but that thing is sexy

gorgeous top on that guitar! nice features too - stainless frets, neckthru, ebony board, Sperzels, Wilkinson trem - very nice indeed! I think Carvin makes great gear and offers some of the best value in amps and instruments that you can get. congrats on your NGD!

Very solid. It only weighs about 7 and a half pound but that continuous piece of wood for the neck-thru gives it a solid feeling despite light weight. Nice bonus after some of my other more heavy guitars.

Re: NGD - not an Ibanez but....

Yeah Basically it was in new condition and was traded in with a Carvin BelAir amp (with fancier tolex and nicer speakers - a friend grabbed that).

The story I heard was the owner had just got this and his car blew up and needed to sell his gear for repairs.

As I type there is a brand-new-ish California Carved top Carvin over at Groth Music in Bloomington.

nice! I don't think I've ever been to Groth but I may have to check it out.
