So this has taken me quite some time, and at times has been quite a rough road. I actually emailed Al at Out of This Swirled to get on the mailing list and mentioned how much I liked this body.
He mentioned a deposit and the next morning I told my wife the bad news.
I searched for a suitable neck for a while, finally deciding that a custom neck was the way to go. After a couple weeks of brooding over the idea, I finally sent Ernie at ET Guitars my specs and my deposit.
7 months later, after several tweaks and additions to the original specs, I got my neck. Ernie was a great guy and never got frustrated with me. I'm sure I bugged the hell out of him though he claims I didn't. Also, thanks to Ernie for suggesting the vinyl graphic that went over the headstock; it turned out great imo.
I have to thank Nolly for the Humbucker suggestion as they are very versatile and work with the single coil well. (Met him in person at the Milton Keynes show with Invocation and his band Red Seas Fire. Easiest guy to talk to.)
It has been forever and a day since I played a 6 string, so this is a little weird for me. I keep forgetting the top string isn't an Ab anymore. I might post a video of some playing, but it will be very basic stuff as I don't feel comfortable currently and don't want to embarrass myself too badly on the forum :ugh:

Thanks for looking guys.
P.S. being limited to number of pictures is ridiculous.
