NGD! RG3770DX-LB :D

So she arrived today, Rhildinger is still waiting on his (probably another week for him sadly ). I am surprised at how much I LOVE this shade of blue. It's dark and metallic and is probably the nicest shade of blue Ever

So time for some pics eh?

Oh and I also recorded a crappy unboxing video... At least it's better than my JB200 unboxing video

Minor mistake fixed 3770, not 3550

Yeah I'm the first, and rhildinger will be second (he said he ordered a Candy Apple one from Ikebe). Hoping he gets his soon, I just played a bit of mine and HOLY S$$T what a guitar The best ibanez I have played since that maple board J custom at Ishibashi back in August. The fret finishing is absolutely AMAZING. Nice and tall, perfectly rounded off, just insane. This is truly the rebirth of the 770, the way the 770 SHOULD be. Sure it's a bit expensive but who cares, this is the Golden Era of Ibanez combined with modern technology to make the PERFECT guitar. this guitar is eve light years ahead of the Genesis collection (and I played the 550, 570 AND 670s when they came out).

I need to take some more pics of it later, but the cost was ABSOLUTELY worth it for this beast. 10/10, not a single flaw on it. Also helps that Jason at Ishibashi gave it a really amazing setup, plays like a dream.

The reissues were never released in Japan, only the US it seems. These are the Japanese reissues with Prestige 3XXX level care put into them

MatiasTolkki, I just noticed that there is a 770dx reissue listed on the sellers page. Looks like a 10/10. Almost the same guitar besides the pickups (F2-Cx-F4). You might have missed that!

I prefer the one I have. The square heel is extra tilted for better access on the higher frets. I noticed it when I looked from the top and compared my RG5000 to my 3770. Also, the 770DX would have to be shipped all the way here from the US. Like I said, the reissues were never actually released in Japan and this 3770 basically ate my gear funds for a long while

Big mistake, so you better fix it by getting a 3550, too!

I didn't know if I wanted a tele with maple board or one with rosewood board, so I got both. There, problem solved.

Your RG is as sexy as any I have ever seen!

That is VERY nice man. Looking forward to hearing it through the H&K. I just ordered a Grandmeister for myself.

I never saw it, but how much in USD? And if so, could one eventually buy it through Ikebashi? USA site?

I'll take a video later today to demo it. I'm sure you'd like to hear the tubemeisters lead channel

It's like 1400 USD, and can be ordered at Ikebe. Hoshino USA told Ishibashi to stop overseas shipping so they only do it for used guitars, not new ones.
