NGD: RG760 FM

I've been curious about these ones for sometime now, and good things come to those who wait.
This is a 2002 RG760 FM, a rare variant of the 760. Especially the neck which is pretty much a JPM neck with 42mm nut, radius is 430mm but the inlays are nicer.
My favorite neck FYI.

I tuned her up and played her a bit before cleaning, and the QM pickups had to go. They were not to my taste. I have a lot of F2's so it goes in the bridge. Neck and middle pickups are at the moment DiMarzio's Area 61 and 67, and it sounds like a strat.

Pictures:

Just arrived.

Disassembled for cleaning and curiosity.

Flame maple is a veener.

Restrung and ready.

Body. I've been toying with the idea about a clear pickguard.

Headstock, notice the inlay on the 3rd and 5th frets, pretty???

Re: NGD: RG760 FM

clear pickguard definitely a way to go for this one.
I once had her sister RG770FM, with same color. good guitar, the ultra neck is thicker than wizard for sure but yet comfortable, I like this neck better than any wizard II.

Very cool find man congrats!

I vote for a clear guard also, I like the one that's on it too, but clear would really show off the wood and fit in a bit better...
