It's just me or the pickups poles aren't the same as the originals Ibz/usa?

Yeah, to be truthful I wasn't impressed with how it came from the factory, it just felt like no effort had gone into making them play nicely. The fret ends (whilst consistant) were 'consistantly' bad in that they were all cut straight but they were all sharp. The edge of the fretboard is quite sharp on them too, though that is emphasized by the frets.

Yeah I got them from Matt's Music just to try someone new. I've got to say the guy treated me absolutely great! He replied to everything really quickly and that I'll definitely be using him again!

I've had a few guitars from Rich and he provides great service and not just on the guitars. This time it made more sense for me to buy the pair elsewhere and to get my local guy to do the work, but let me just say that in a roundabout way, Rich gets a thumbs up here without doing a thing. The issues that I have with this guitar would've been sorted if I'd bought from him and the guitar would be ready to play from the moment they hit my doorstep. On the other hand I'm 100% pleased with the service Matt gave me as well as the price for the two, and also happy that my local guy (who has been really good to me, does a great job and a super-nice guy to boot,) gets some work too. But yeah, not a bad word to say about Matt's Music

Now that I'm authorized, I can play the same price game, and guarantee nobody can, or will, beat it, the service, or the flexibility of being able to offer any range of service to meet the desire, expectation, and wallet of the customer

Bugger!

Ah well, maybe when/if the RG565 reissues come out eh Rich?

Just out of curiosity, have you had any hints that there will be further reissues or are you in the same boat as everyone else?

I don't need hints. Once this train left the station nothing was going to stop it.

Re: NGD: RG770DX!!

Awesome axes, congratulations on picking up both models. A pity about the frets though, quite poor considering how much they cost. Would have loved to be able to pick up one of these as well.

Re: NGD: RG770DX!!

I agree with what Rob said. It may be my eyes or photo angle but the inlays on them do not look exactly straight. In my early 20 I was ape**** about sharktooth inlays and had a s540LTD with them and loved it. I must be getting old because they really don't appeal to me.

I know what you mean about not being able to afford them then but now being able to. I always wanted and still kinda do want a LNG.

Congrats man, play some skynard man.

Yeah, that'll my photography

I have this strange 'auto-focus' on my camera that doesn't really work well with my hands. I can photograph something straight if I try to, but I figured these were just fluff shots really so just did them quickly

So the inlays are fine.

Re: NGD: RG770DX!!

It should be no surprise that the fret ends aren't soft & rounded like some people need. Rich told us they weren't right after namm I believe. Plus there was another thread about it too. My 550 weren't rounded, but I didn't find them sharp. I like the way they feel. I'm glad they aren't rounded. Everybody has different tastes that's for sure. C'mon Friday ! (time seems to go slower when I'm waiting for a guitar to arrive)
