NGD - Roadstars

I've picked up a few new roadstars and figured I'd share some pics. I've been playing the pr1550 a whole bunch over the last few days.

Digging the angled humbucker and the pick guard that looks like it's from a bass.

Holy sheeet! Love the 410 and 420. The necks on these guitars are sumptuous.

Yess, Prolines are the shizz .

Was the 410 one that was on eBay recently without hardware or pu, and an '85 neck plate?

No. I bought the 410 about a year ago for $90 US. It was missing the rear covers, volume knob, and needed a really good cleaning. I am not so sure that is the correct year pickup. The frets and the trem knife edges had no wear on them. It plays great.

I bought the 420 off the bay a few weeks ago. The body is really nicked and chipped and it has some fret wear on the first few frets, but overall it plays well.

The pro-line was a local buy. It was missing a fine tuner-but I had some spares. Other than that it is in perfect condition. It currently is the guitar that I am playing every day.

Nice collection you have there.

I agree, the P bass looking one is pretty cool.

Ah; the one I described was red too, so I thought there was a connection. I passed as it had no trem studs, which, on '86 guitars are longer and have no bottom - would probably take forever to find. The pu is probably a replacement - they all came with IBZ like your Proline and 420 have.

Yeah, those Pro Rock'r parts are a b!tch to get. The neck on the Prolines is very similar to Radius Ultra. For a slim neck it's very nice. I was surprised when I measured it; I think the thin/wide ratio is good on them.
