NGD!! Saved another one......

This NGD is a little belated. This is the one I was asking questions about on how to clean the gold hardware on a few weeks ago. It's a 1993 EX3700TP (trans purple). Flame maple top over basswood with body and neck binding.
This might be one of the better deals someone on here has gotten so far this year. I paid $120 w/hardshell case. This thing was F I L T H Y!!! Best part is it was hardly played, virtually no fretware at all. Totally stock. These guitars are VERY good for the $$$. This is my 2nd one. I have a EX365LB(hum-single), that I love. The necks are thin and believe it or not, I LOVE the pickups, especially the brdige. There's a nice grainy rough edge about them and they produce great pinch harmonics as well, best of all, they go used for $10-$20
I"ll show before and after pics.

Before pics....
Notice the junk on the back. I was able to rub it out. When inspecting it during the dealing process,I knew the stuff was on the top of the finish and took a gamble on getting it off, glad I was right.....

Nasty Gold hardware.......

After pics....I got about 6-8 hrs of cleaning time in this baby

Dude, nice work! Looks great! My first electric bass was an EX. Still have it! Great quality for the money.

Re: NGD!! Saved another one......

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna refinish the headstock and put a standard Ibanez logo on it.
and yes they are the original trem studs.

That EX log is just sooo early 90's sweet! Don't be ashamed! That thing is 5x the guitar of any modern "starter" series guitar!

Hello

I have exactly the same, but I miss the trem-bar. Do you know the diameter?
