Well, this is my first non-Ibanez guitar.
It is a Schecter C-1 E/A in sunburst. Mahogany hollowbody with a maple veneer top and cream binding.
I got it used from Guitar Center. This thing is flawless for being used. There are zero scratches and the pickups and bridge even had the plastic on them.
First off, this guitar is not at all what I pictured a Schecter to be. I had the image (incorrect one btw) that Schecter was just nu-metal shred style guitars. This one is nothing like that.
The biggest thing is the versatility. At mid to low gain this guitar is extremely warm and full sounding, exactly how you expect a hollowbody to sound. Crank the gain up and it will scream and howl like the rest. The biggest thing for me is the piezo pickups. With these it takes no effort to turn the sound into acoustic (on clean) or a very twangy Tele sound (a little gain).
The pickups aren't that bad either. Yeah, they mud up at high gain, but low gain and clean they are bright and actually very nice.
