NGD.... something different for me!!

Plain and simple.............. another awesome craigslist find.

I actually found this for another member when he was asking about RT450's. I offered to go look at it and buy it if it was as the ad described. Since then, I haven't heard from him............ I guess it's a keeper. This guitar doesn't have a single, nick, scratch, or ding........ not even any pick swirling. It's like it was bought new last week. I even got the hang tags!!!!

The Deet's:

'92 RT-650 GBF (Gravure Blue Flame)
Fully bound Alder body/ Flamed Gravure top (I don't know how thick it is, I'll find out when I clean her up)
IBZ V8-S2-V7
TZ-6 trem
Fully bound flamed, one-piece maple/ rosewood neck. No scarf joint, no volute.

The Pics:

Love the blue top with body binding. That is a sharp looking guitar. If it only had an Edge.

That is nice and some guitars dont need a floating trem to be something different and fun to play.

Wasnt those andy timmons guitars at one time?

LOL...If only!!!

I actually started looking for one of these for myself a while ago. Ironfist had shown and talked about his enough to make me VERY curious!!! I gotta say, He was right on the money!!!

This thing is an absolute dream to play. The V8 in the bridge is far superior to any V8 I've ever played before. The V7 sucks.......... there's no two ways about it. The S2 in the middle is new to me, but I REALLY like it!!

The TZ bridge holds tune very well with average use. I haven't gotten crazy with it yet. The Gotoh magnum lockers help that out a lot.

I still haven't cleaned it or set it up. This is exactly how I bought it. Hopefully I'll get some time before the weekend to do it.

AT was in all the ads for the RT, but any vids I've seen of him back in the day were with RG's......... If this thing were an H-S-S it would be very similar to the AT series guitars though. AT is my guitar hero BTW............ Him and Treva!!!!

Oh my GOD!!!! WANT!!!!!!

Congratulations mate, that is a beauty. I want Ibanez to build some alder bodied guitars with the RG body shape so bad. These are non-existent here.

Yeah, well I hope those Gravity Storms are nearly to you now. Taking so long! Been at LAX allegedly since the 21st December.

Yeah, if I had the cash maybe.

Yeah, we might have to start an investigation of some sort......... Maybe they disappeared into a real gravity storm (black hole...LOL)

Dude, cash is fluid.......... friends overlook those things.

Nice man, nice. There would have been a time I would have said "sell it to me" but I don't dig flat radius guitars anymore. Oh but that is a pretty one.

Re: NGD.... something different for me!!

I'm sure they'll be with you in the next couple of days. silverctrs EMGs arrived yesterday, and I sent his package two days before yours. Will be there real soon I'm sure! That DY will look sweet with them.

It's a drought for me though! You are a good friend, and I've never even met you!

Re: NGD.... something different for me!!

Don't get me wrong. The bridge is fine. Probably will stay in tune very well. I just prefer floating trems. Well quality floating trems. Still, that RT is beautiful.
