NGD (Suhr is a beauty!!)

This arrived today:

Pro Series S4 in Bahama Blue.
Has the FL single coils which i'm not sure are standard on the Pro Series, but i like 'em
Setup and finish are perfection, and the tones are godlike- i couldn't be happier

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of questions: Are those medium stainless frets? How does it stay in tune with the white tusq nut? What kind of neck profile did you choose? Also, how long did it take for you to recieve your guitar, after you ordered?

Hey thanks!
This is a Pro series model , so it wasn't an order, just one that a dealer had gotten in stock. With the Pro series, you can't choose options, you have to go with what's there. To answer your questions:

1- the frets are "heavy", and not SS
2- stays in tune perfectly so far, but i don't whammy acrobatics or sub-octave dive bombs
I DO use the trem A LOT though, and it's staying in tune like a champ.
3- the neck profile on the Pro Series is even C slim, 10-14 radius, and 1.65 nut width- super comfy...

Any other questions, feel free to ask!

Re: NGD (Suhr is a beauty!!)

Thanks for your swift reply. That's interesting that the white tusq is keeping in tune. I, however, will get a self-lubricating 'black tuq xl' nut on my Suhr. So I can have a bit more freedom with the bar. And I also prefer a black one for aesthetic reasons.

Anyway, that's a great guitar you have there! Enjoy it!

Wow, that's a really nice chunk of wood you got there! Great finish, it looks killer with the maple board. Congrats!

As opposed to what?
Marble?
Stainless steel?
Quilted maple?

Seriously, plastic pickguards have been in use for over 50 years, and they're just fine by me....
