Interesting... it looks like an Original Floyd Rose on those two customs... the "shoulders" of the base plate are squared, like an OFR, not angled like the TRS-7! I've never seen one of those before... new product?

They could be an esp made trem, but it looks like a real floyd from what I see (as real as it could be). You think maybe fender is expanding the floyd line? I know theyve been trying to buy jackson.

Nice axes! The purple flame reminds me a Wolfie or my old EBMM Axis. Nice ebony boards also.

I've split off the discussion about the fretboards into a new thread.

If you think these guitars are nice go here

[edited the link so it goes to the correct site... i HATE it when webmasters have their DNS set up so domains don't resolve to the correct location without the 'www'! - dw.]

Interesting... according to the parts section of the ESP Japan site, there is actually an Original Floyd Rose 7-string trem!

You can see it quite clearly on this pic (even has a D-Tuna!) and that is definitely not a Lo-TRS-7.

Thanx Darren.

I didn't even try the link - I just cut and pasted it.
Did you notice how much most of these guitars cost though?

If anyone has a few spare minutes and a fast conection go to Ibanez Japan and ESP Japan and compare prices.
You could get 2 Jem7DBK for the price of one nice ESP.
Madness I tell you.

Also the 32.000Y 7 string Floyd comes up to $256.
That's kind of steep methinks.

That floyd is definitly rare though. Ever try to buy a 7 string floyd? good luck. Im glad to see fender isnt killing the line these days. Im shocked they made the thing at all to tell you the truth. Maybe we will get a 7 string floyd pro too darren

i think that ESP should keep the 7-string as a custom shop option. I just dont like baritones. I dont care about production ESP 7-strings (although they look quite good) I'd like to see a option for a ESP 7
