He must be really Ibanez nuts, fiftysomething Ibanez' s and just a few non-ibanez's.

This isn't cool anymore IMHO.

sometimes when i look at a guitar collection, i wonder, do they really get played? i don't mind if the guitars are rare collectors items e.g. Jem 10th, DNA, 90th, etc... but to see players model just to be kept. *sigh* how good it will be if it can be in the hands of those who really needs 'em and can use it well.

just imho.

That's a very valid point of view. Here's another: If I had a lot of cash (a lot as in I could buy 50+ guitars and not affect my budget at all), would I have a huge collection even if I rarely played most guitars? HELL YEAH!!!!

hmmmm... i think who would not.

but i just hope, leave the players model for players to purchase and just buy those really collector's items. so less demand for players model, which hopefully would mean lower price. although not the point, that would kill the player's model totally.

Definitely makes up in quantity for what he lacks in overall quality. I suppose that the sheer volume of the collection could be considered "impressive", but most of the stuff isn't anything special. I was almost enjoying it until the last full row at the bottom of the page.

As soon as I saw that the guy actually bought the mutilated RBM that had been floating around EBay forever (and had been discussed here a couple of times), I instantly lost respect for him.

i'm impressed by the diversity of better-quality ibanez axes that span over 3 decades

IMHO that is a big improvement over "collections" loaded with mostly floyd-rose RG-body "shred" guitars ...glen

Its an impressive collection, mostly because of the quantity of guitars, but also because it represents the evolution of the brand. Most of them are player guitars that were mass produced, hence they really reflect the "core" of Ibanez guitars at each era.

I dont think he spent a huge amount of money in them, as this are guitars that can be found at really low prices if you look hard enough.

That butchered RBM10 looks out of place though.....

Cool collection....
Good point about the evolution of Ibanez RCB.

Nice variety.
But where the hell does he put all those guitars???

And to think, I thought I had a guitar buying "problem"...
