"Aahh...Mr. Wilson"

I was looking for Parker Fly pictures some time ago and came across your site. Lost the url, didn't want to face trudging through search engine spew all over again...and now it magically appears.
You have my dream guitar. The photography is sublime - you've really captured the divine beauty. What's the colour called?

Also: I love pretty much anything PRS.

Hmm...I'd hafta say....Well, anybody here seen the Washburn Idol? *They're nice! *They're your basic Les Paul setup, except diff. body style, and the tone knobs are now VCC (Voice Contour Control) knobs. *They work like coil taps, but allowing a smooth transition between hum to single sound and everything in between along with the fact that they always cancel hum! *They're only like $500 something last time I checked. *

I like the [b]Charvel San Dimas[b] series built in around 1994-1996. Mine, a SD II solid Koa body, is from 1995 and has one of the smoothest necks I've ever played with an unbelievable birdseye grain. Love it!

I'm still looking for a SD III with a blue quilt top. Yummy!

I love my Jem, but I'm also a sucker for Strats,
best one I'be played:
a friend's friend's SRV,
even though it's mighty strange to go from .009 to 0.013
I wonder what an alder Jem would look like with Sunburst/Gold/Pau Ferro and "SRV" carved into the pickguard...

any [closet] Rickenbacker fans out there?
have a look at the 650 Frisco on www.Rickenbacker.com

Ok, late I may be, but I still wanna play.
I currently own a '62 RI strat that I swear someday I will put in the Hs3 and 2 HS-2's, A '63 Gibson Melody maker, which I bought for 1 song that I needed something that I could drop-d tune and chunk around on. Believe it or not, that lil thing with ONE pickup at the bridge position has as much balls as any other guitar I've played. Nice fat tone. (I'm using a stock Ibanez V-3 pickup in the bridge position, maybe thats it?) I have a 61 Epiphone Balladeer 12 str. that my dad gave me, and the thing just shimmers with tone when you strum it. I am itching for either a Parker fly or a 2027X, I am having a fit trying to decide on which. And finally I am itching for the Godin ACS nylon acoustic electric MIDI axe, I played one at a local music store and I was quite impressed ! I would also like to get my hands on an Yngwie strat or atleast neck so that I can toy with the feel of the scallops, I think they help me immensely on the upper registers of the guitars I already have scalloped. anyway, thats my list/ wish list.

The guitar I would want the most is a Teuffel Birdfish, the design is just great.. The I would like to get a flame top Les Paul.... A nice PRS custom, maybe a EB/MM Axis, a Parker, a couple of other Ibanez... I don't have a Jem, so that would near the top of the list...(a VWH)...Also, I would like to have thise guitar, that guitar, etc.....the list goes on and on....

If I win the lottery, I guess I'll have to build a new room just to show all the guitars I would get...hehe

I really like the Fender Ritchie Sambora Stratocaster (the American one), Music Man Eddie Van Halen, Gibson Nighthawk and my favorite acoustic that I play every night, a Washburn EA20 Festival Series.

Well, since I'm an exclusive 7-stringer, my choices up until recently have been somewhat limited. *However, besides my RG7620, I play an Epi Les Paul Classic 7 and a BCRich Warlock 7 w/ the EVH D-Tuna switch on the low B string. *

Although the neck is a little thick, I always love the sound and classic stylings of a Les Paul. *The BCRich has a very smooth neck (ala Jem/UV/RG7) and I love the fact that this guitar could double as a battle axe. *Chalk it up to my "secret pointy guitar obsession!" *I've wanted a Warlock since I was a kid in '87 watching all my favorite metal gods play one. *And the truth is, the BCRiches play very well. *

I really enjoy playing guitars that most people don't play. *I've gotten more compliments on my LP7 and BCRich7 than I ever have on my RG7. *I guess I like the attention. * For guitars I don't own, I'd like to try out the 12-string Grand Stick (www.stick.com)
EB/MM Petrucci 7 (gotta check it out)
Gibson Gothic Explorer (just like the aura it gives off) :-)
Washburn 36-fret guitar (w/out the crackle finish)
Benedetto 7 (for when I feel jazzy)
Just about any top model BCRich (minus the Bich, man, I hate that Bich!)
Fender SRV (big neck, but big tone!)
There's a lot more, but I can't think of them now.....Da*n, don't ya hate it when that happens?

My first player is my Fender Mexican Strat which i've hot rodded the hell out of, (graphite nut/saddles, vintage noiseless pickups, sperzle tuners, etc.) Then comes my PRS Swamp Ash special which I think sounds the best of all of my guitars but doesn't play as well as my strat or Ibanez. Then third is my RG550 which is probably the best playing but only sounds good for heavier stuff and fast stuff. Lastly is my POS homemade Tele imitation. It plays alright and has a good clean sound but the body that I used was from a $130 guitar and the tonality of the wood just sux. It looks pretty cool though.

One of the few guitars I'm dying to find right now is a Guild X-79.
We were at a show this weekend and what do I see?! You got it, an X-79. Perfect condition. The only problem being that the guy holding it had just bought it...and didn't want to get rid of it. *
I later found out who he got it from. I'd been talking to them as they were unpacking, but apparently didn't stay there long enough. Sad, very sad....and it was only $325...

I must say that the best live tone i have heard so far came from a Tom Anderson, and they are the most beautiful guitars around!! I''d also like to have a custom ESP done and see what they are like. But nothing excites me more than a USA BCRICH Warlock, man those things are evil.

There's also this french firm, Vigier. They are quite well known in the UK, and they have fretless guitars!!! With floyd-roses balanced on ball-bearings instead of knives. Man, i'd really like to try one of those out.

However, all things considered, at the top of my wish list is the EBMM JP7.

I fell in love with my Yamaha Pacifica 1511MS last year. Bought her after passing an exam. My first new guitar for 4 years.
Blonde and beautiful-creamy binding, zebra neck humbucker, and hotrails bridge humbucker. Maybe the bridge hotrails is a little too 'hot'?
Is there an alternative humbucker with a bit less top and a bit more mid? (single-coil type)

She is a world apart from a JEM. I got her when I was convinced I'd never be able to shred like I wanted to, and I was going through a big blues-rock phase.

They are nice guitars. Apal has a strat-style mid-range pacifica. It too is so well put together.
Recommended.

I pretty much like any of the quality 80's style guitars Ibanez, Jackson, B.C. Rich, ESP, Kramer, & Parker. As long as it is a quality guitar and screams 80's I will like it. *
