not s370 or not rg470? - rg550ex-rg570ex color problem..

after read all of yours replies to my post of what to buy a s370 or rg470 i finally decided to buy a new rg 550ex or a new rg570ex. The guitar cost me around 800 euros, and i was looking for an used jem in this price,..but i prefer have a new rg.Thx all of you that replied me.And now the question:the 550ex is in galaxy black and silver sand colour, and the 570ex is in royal blue flat and ciber pink.My decision between one of them will be by the colour. i like the galaxy black,but i prefer if is possible a white,and the ciber pink and silver sand looks almost white in the ibanez.com page; i need the opinion of someone have seen this colours in person, and tell me please how are them.Thx * *
* * * * * * P.D.:im considering the 550ex and the 570ex in the same range of quality and prestations. * * * *

not s370 or not rg470?

I think my local store actually had 3 of the 4 colours in the last time I was there. The only one missing being the RBF 570.

They're all very realistically represented on the Ibanez website, and the colours match very well.

The lightest of the colours is the Cyber Pink. I think the fact that it has no scratchplate also makes it look lighter than the 550EX in Silver Sand which has quite a dark mirrored scratchplate, and is also IMHO a tiny bit darker anyway. But the pickguard styling of the RG550EX makes it a little more JEM-like than the 570.

I think the Cyber Pink looks grey. There is the tiniest hint of pink in the colour under shop lights. In daylight it might look more pink. If you did not know it was named "Cyber Pink" I dont't think you would even think about it being pink. It looks more light grey to me.

I say trust the colour on the Ibanez website

If it's pink then it's very very subtle... The inlays can go a little pinky in daylight, but it's more in a pearl kind of way. Cyber is a very good description for it, as it does look a bit spacy that way. Overall I'd say it's more of a silvery with-a-very-slight-hint-of-pink-that-isn't-all-that-noticable rather than pink.

I have a rg570ex in cyberpink.I added a jemdbk pickguard with dimarzio's.The only hint of pink is on the sharktooth inlays,only when the light is just right.It's definitely a way cool guitar,kind of a futuristic vibe to it.
