Not sure what to get next...

I've just returned back from a 10 year break from playing... prior to that, I probably had been playing on and off (or 'widdling' as I like to call it - messing about on a guitar) for 15 years. I have owned loads of guitars... Brian Moore i2000, JS100, JS1000, Jem 7VWH, RG3120, RG2820, SA360 etc all of which I sold off.

I returned back to playing just before Christmas - wife bought me a Yamaha Pacifica 311H which tbh is a great guitar - love the feel and sound it gives off.

Anyway, I am thinking about the 'next guitar' and can't quite make up my mind. My favourite guitar I owned was my JS1000BTB that I bought off Rich years ago. So easy to play and felt perfect. Least favourite was my Jem7V - it never gelled with me.

I am looking at the following guitars:
PRS Custom 24 SE 2017
PRS Custom 24 Floyd SE 2017
Ibanez RG1070PBZ-CKB
Ibanez RG655M-SPM
Ibanez JS24P-CA

Thanks

If you liked the JS, you can get used 1000bp s for like 800 or 900(usd) used in great/excellent shape.

Max is about £1,300 ($1,500?) - prefer to buy from the UK (Our exchange rate is terrible since Brexit vote - from £1=$1.6 to £1=$1.17).

I have a fixed bridge at the moment... thinking a tremolo for variety. BUT also open to a fixed bridge.

Re: Not sure what to get next...

I like RG's so I would pick one of the RG's Looks like they both have Dimarzio pups so that is a plus - but it looks like one has an OE bridge and the other has an EZI. Those are quite different feeling bridges so you really need to make sure you try both kinds of bridges before you buy. Personally I like the EZ bridges and have 2 guitars with them but some guys here swear by the OE bridges and poop on the EZ bridges so again I think it's important for you to find a way to try both kinds of bridges before you commit to the purchase.
