NPD - D-Activator (bridge) & Q-Tuner GL medium Z

Swapped the stock pickups with a D-Activator 7 (bridge) and a Q-Tuner GL medium Z 7 (neck).
I finaly found what I was looking for! The D-Activator roars!
The Q-Tuner is the most clear/bright pickup I've ever heard. It's really close to the sound you hear when you're playing the guitar unplugged. The reviews I read while researching them, were true!

Here are some pics!

Nice! I'd like to try out these Q-Tuner pups, but they're so frigging expensive.

Indeed...They were 50 euros more than the DiMarzio. I guess I was really after that sound.

mmm... thinkin of getting a Q-tuner to go on the neck to match with a BKP C-Bomb7...
from what I understand/heard, they're super clear and articulate without a "voice" i.e. transparent? Does the GL medium2 in the neck handle sweeps + lower notes on the low B without turning into mud?

Re: NPD - D-Activator (bridge) & Q-Tuner GL medium Z

I can't say that I'm a super fast sweeper but so far I got no mud anywhere. That was the main reason for swapping the stock pickups (too muddy for my taste) and the Q-tuner lives up to my expectations.

I suppose that the no-voice is partialy true, cause you get a really similar to the unplugged sound. I'll try to post some clips as soon as I find time to do so (won't be too long).

The low B is crystal clear without any pole adjustment (I use standard tuning). I suppose that if you adjust the poles you can get a more signature sound. I'll get back on this in a few weeks (I'm in recording mode at the moment).
