NUGD!!

Hey, Folks.

Just got my first 7string on Monday. It's a 2001 Fernandes Revolver Pro. I'm really liking it and it's in great condition! Just two little penpoint scratches on it. The guitar came with a hard shell case and a EVH D-Tuna which I gave to my guitar tech in return for a prof. setup.

The sustainer is pretty cool but I am having trouble figuring out how to use it. All I seem to get out of it is feedback. It has one toggle switch, a volume knob, tone knob and a push/push knob.

Other than not knowing how to use the sustainer I'm really happy with it.

Here's some pics.

I bought this used for 349 at Guitar Center in Pasadena, CA and I live in Illinois. Found it on their website.

So, now all I need is a Carvin Legacy and I'll be set. Maybe next year....

Re: NUGD!!

Looking great! I'd love to have a 7-string sustainer!

Congrats!

Re: NUGD!!

Thanks, Yeah the sustainer is what sold me on the guitar. Since they don't make the pickups anymore.

I just wish I can figure out how to get the normal sustain going. I'm thinking of switching out the bridge pickup to a Dimarzio Blaze, or a Evo7.
What do you think?

How does the stock pickup sound? If it's not your cup of tea, there are plenty of options on replacement pickups.
I swapped mine with a D-Activator and really love it (different pickups for different ears though).
