Ok, so I'm NOT gonna change the knobs!

I wanted to change out the Ibanez steel knobs on my 1550M to Strat style knobs.

So I ordered some Fender knobs off the net only to find they would not fit properly, sitting about a quarter inch above the body!

Next, I ordered some knobs directly from Ibanez. (Along with some Ibanez picks ^ ^)

Unfortunately, they appear to be the exact same Fender knobs and will not fit either.

I put my Poisoned Pumpkin back in it's case, still stock, ready to be played again, hopefully very soon!

the fender ones would fit if you changed the pots too.

That's what I did on my RG2550z - put in new cts posts and then put the new strat style knobs on...the volume pot on my 2550z sucked anyhow - crappy taper, dead space...I like to use my volume control alot and the volume pot on my prestige was not good - nie guitar but crappy volume pot imho...

I am moderately creeped out by your underage girl doll. Is that first guy trying to take her virginity?

It's not a doll, it's an ACTION FIGURE!

And thanks for the idea of lowering the pots, I may try that.
