Old pic - Joey Allen (Warrant) Ibanez!!

Here's a pic of Joey Allen with a killer Ibanez guitar. Check out the flame maple top!! I figure this must be a 1992 model, but what model is it? Also, was this a rare Ibanez or did they mass produce it? Where can I find one? Almost forgot the link www.downboys.com/joeyallen.html

That is a LACS RG565. Seymour Duncan Hot Stack in the neck, and a JB (I believe) in the bridge. This guitar was a one off made for Joey about the time of Warrant's "Dog Eat Dog" CD, when the band was getting away from the graphics and going for more wood toned finishes.

That model was never mass produced.

Cheers,
Butch

I remember seeing that pic in the CD not long ago...pretty guitar. That thick binding really sets it off. Butch, thanks for the scoop!

sure,
but his customs soon became mass products on the market.
that's cool for us common mortals, but a bit less for those customs theirselves...

One of the coolest customs I've seen was the one that White Zombie's guitar player had, I think he's called J., did that guitar was mass produced?

I think it was.....Rich had (has?) one on his site; sparkle green with white stars, 2xhumbuckers and a set neck. Very sharp looking instrument.
