I avidly reference the Ibanez Fandom website for information about my older Ibanez guitars, and have noticed that the page (here: https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/RG570_(1989-1992)
for the first runs of RG570's lists them as having a "One piece Wizard neck," while the runs immediately following, like the 1993-94, are listed as having quarter sawn Wizard necks.
I think I'm in need of some education on the matter, because the quarter sawn neck on my 1993 RG570 looks just like those pictured on the earlier models that I see being sold on Reverb and elsewhere. The same half-oval shape a few inches below the headstock is evident, which makes it quarter sawn, doesn't it?
I'm interested to hear what some of you more seasoned Ibanez enthusiasts know about the subject. Thanks!
