Our first big time media review

I received an advance copy on Saturday of the December issue of JazzTimes magazine with a review of a koa/limba Swan LN6. Needless to say, I'm very excited. My thanks to Russell Carlson for doning a great job.

It looks great in color but the file was too big, so here's a link to a black & white PDF file. I believe the issue hits the streets in about a week.

Congratulations Jim, glad to see the Swan getting some more big-time recognition!

Great, descriptive review. I never knew about the graphite rods.

Congrats, Jim! He did a good job. I could never afford a Swan, but I can really attest to the awesomeness of the extended scale. My new Schecter has the 26 1/2" scale, and I love it.

Congratulations dude!

Even though, they are not my kind of axe, I've always loved the looks of your swans.

I wonder how much perceptions of our guitars would change if people saw them without a sound hole. This is one that we're currently working on.

Oohhhhhh....Wow, Jim, that's nice! I dunno, though... as long as the F-hole is bound the right way, I say it looks better with. What kind of top is that? Walnut? I'm probably way off

It's Bolivian rosewood. It's still chambered. It just doesn;t have a hole. It was mostly a cosmetic decision. The wood was just so pretty that I wanted to leave the entire top intact. We're planning to build a few solid bodies soon though.

Such a beautiful top...What color hardware is she slated for? Either black or gold, I think, would set it off wonderfully. Whether it be with the sound hole or not, I'd say your guitars are just amazing. Awesome that you got media coverage and I hope it brings you all the business you and your craft deserve.

Also, quick question, for your swan 7s, or any 7 for that matter, is there any way to get pickup covers in 7 string format? I've seen pickup rings, but never covers. Thanks!

Best regards,
Daniel
