Re: Pawn Shop SCORE!!!
That's a great deal for $200 dollars.
I bought a similar Bigsby B50 bridge (B5 says "Bigsby", B50 says "Bigsby licensed" or name of guitar company like Epiphone or Ibanez or Gretsch, and B500 is a black chrome B5/B50) and that works really well with locking Grover tuners which I also bought.
The space between where the ball ends hook up and where the strings go over the saddle is a nice place to fool with the B and G and E strings to get country B-bender effects. You push down on the string behind the saddle and you can get a lot of great effects and it's something that can be done on some Bigsbys but not Fenders or locking trem units.
Though it's not an edge or any locking tuner setup, it's still a pretty useful trem with the locking tuners and occasional graphite in plastic nut from time to time.
The Bigsbys get a great shimmer effect with single coils so what I did in my stock HH guitar was put in a push-pull volume knob so I could make it SS as well as standard HH. It sounds amazing on clean settings that way with split coils and almost sounds like my telecaster with B50 and two single coils.
