Petrucci Ernie Ball - Compared to Ibanez model?

* Hello, I had an Ibanez JPM2 and the neck was unbelievable, as well as the tone and ease. *Is the Ernie Ball anything like this or does it feel more like a Steve Morse model? *Either way, I still can't wait for mine to get here. *MWAHAHA! *By the way, the split hums on the Ibanez gave the most awesome sound on the Ibanez, did it stay the same on the EB? *Thanks!!
* ~Adam

The neck on the EB JP model is flatter and smaller feeling than the Ibanez. *It kind of reminds me of a Wizard because of the flatness, however it's still not quite the same as a Wizard - it feels smaller in your hand I think. *I really enjoy playing both the Ibanez and EB models though as I think the playability is great and I'm so partial to the pickup, knob/switch layout.

The humbuckers are modified versions of the Steve's Special and Air Norton so yes the sound is very similar to the Ibanez, especially on clean settings. *The bridge pickup sounds a little hotter with distortion, to me.

Thanks Adam. *I don't have a cd out yet, but that's what I'm frantically trying to accomplish when I have the time. *Unfortunately, my time has been very limited recently.
