Picked up a guitar yesterday, 1960's know nothing about it

Picked up a guitar yesterday. Went to Guitar Center to have them tell me something about it and they were pretty much stumped.
All they could tell me is that it was probably a 1960's guitar and that it was made in Japan (says it on the back).

It's a Kingston, in pretty good shape.

Can anyone tell me anything about it and what I could hope to get for it if I sold it. I have an offer for 50.00 already site unseen. Don't want to just sell it to someone without first knowing more about it.

Never go to GC for info, those kids are clueless.
That is made by the same factory that did Teisco, Silvertone, Decca and a few more brands. Entry level Jap guitar of the day, not a bad find but not worth a lot of cash, about $175 would be the max I think, and that would be a good day. Not a collectible model.
