pickguard question about ibanez RG 1570

will a custom painted pickguard that fits a 550/1550/Jem fit a 1570?
its plastic...if i had to make an adjustment would it be relatively huge and not worth my time? eg. if i had to cut out alot of the art ...

thanks!

Re: pickguard question about ibanez RG 1570

Should fit. I think the 1570s don't have pup rings anymore, so shouldn't be an issue at all

I had an RG1570 too and was contemplating getting a pickguard, it will fit without any issues.

You will want one with the large opening for the 5-way and large holes so you don't have to remove the nuts from the volume and tone pots.

Exactly.
Are those hard to find? I wanted a H-H with large holes to put, maybe, on an RG-570.

Where can I find one?

There's a seller on the bay that can make custom guards for you. I had one made and it was great. Getting another soon.
