Pickup sugestions for RG7620

Throw me some suggestions yall. *I was playing my 7620 outside 2 fridays ago and it was extremely humid. due to this the coils on the pickups rusted. It had the stock blazes in it. *I figure since I have to buy new ones anyways they should kick ass. *the main use of this axe is for cleans. *I hear the tone zone is a nice PU expecially in the bridge position. Any suggestions are apreaciated. I will need bridge and neck PU.

Hmmm...for clean sounds..............PAF-7 ?
Works on both, the bridge & the neck.
However !!! As I haven't tried these personally I would need somebody to confirm my suggestion...

Just thought I'd add this: http://www.jemsite.com/axes/htm_features/spec_ib7.htm

I don't think you would be dissapointed with the Tone Zone's either...

My best recommendation for Dimarzio's for your guitar man, would be a Tone Zone 7 in the bridge and a PAF 7 (not the Pro) in the neck. I have these in my UV777BK and am very very pleased.

If you are interested in Duncans, the JB7 is fantastic in either the neck or bridge, the Alnico II is nice in the neck as well, but I'm not sure if they make that in a 7 stringer.

I'd second any notion for a PAF7 in the neck. It's a killer pickup!

For the record, the 7620's didn't really come with Blaze pickups, but rather they came with Dimarzio/Ibanez New7 pickups. So you may want to consider putting genuine Dimarzio Blaze pickups in as well--just another option. I really like the sound of a Blaze II in the bridge, and I've heard lots of good stuff about the Blaze Custom.

I would say the Duncan invader7 but thats just me. Also I like the sound of the stockers in my ax7521 better than the ones of the 7620 but the mahogany body is probably also a factor. Just to be crazy I'm considering a invader7(bridge) and an emg707(neck) combo. Has anyone else considered this combo?

i've got a bridge invader 7 on my ESP M-207, its not a bad pup but you get a huge amount of feedback if you are anywhere near you rack / amp (which sometimes you have to be)

Im trying a Dimarzio Tone Zone 7 or a Rio Grandee Muy Grande 7 in my RG20227XVV - ill let you know how i get on

I'll be interested to find out what you think about those pickups as well, as I am starting to look at new possibilities... The invader, tone zone + paf all sound tempting... Although I am sure I'll start up a thread on this nearer the time

If the Invader is to hot for you the Tone Zone will be as well.
Get a blaze custom!
The PUs that came in that guitar are not Blaze II PUs.
I call Dimarzio and they told me they are different.
I like the Blaze Custom for a middle out put PU.
I have two of them one EVO7 and a lot of Blaze IIs.
Let me know if you need one.
