Pickups for 550!

I need some pickups for my 550. Dimazio of course
Theres just so many to decide from

I play vai, satch, petrucci. aswell as high gain metal
I just want a pickup that is relatively high output, has a nice lead tone and can still play clean.

I've been thinking
Evolution neck
Tone zone bridge
Air Norton Neck
D activator - Bridge

What pickup Combination should i get

Re: Pickups for 550!

I second the Breeds, have them in a couple of basswood Ibanezes and and one mahogany Ibanez and they just palin rule, clean and distorted, very very nice sounding

Re: Pickups for 550!

I just picked up a rg550...and I'm torn as well between the Breed set and a Evo2 set. I'm having a CL/LQ combo installed in a basswood Jackson, so I have that base covered.

I've heard good things about both sets...
